Who owns my ideas?

You do! With Slyngshot, your ideas always remain your ideas. Slyngshot runs on an input to output model, therefore you’re the one who keeps ownership rights to your Input, as well as the Output. The written expression of the Business Idea is the copyright of the Authorized User.

Can you (or anyone else) see my ideas?

Your ideas can only be seen if they have been made public by you. Your private ideas remain private. On the backend, Slyngshot has access to the name of your business but we cannot see the actual content or description of your ideas! That means your ideas remain yours unless you share them.

Additionally, we will not share or sell Personal Information with other organizations for their marketing or promotional uses without your express consent.

How can I use the imagery and logo Slyngshot generated?

AI-generated works are in the public domain and not owned by anyone and therefore free for you to use for any purpose. A user can pursue copyright of the material if they have made creative arrangements or substantial modifications to the AI-generated work.

First, we never read your ideas or sell them. For anyone to view your idea - you must first publish the idea (make it public) and then share the link. Once your link is made public, your custom URL will be assigned to you as long as you have an active Slyngshot account. You can share this site with others, send to your teammates, even use it to pitch! The possibilities are endless with this tangible, shareable, portrait of your idea.
